It is a production performed for students in middle school throughout Oregon. The play promotes Abstinence . The program is made up of young teenagers who rehearse the play during the summer and perform it during the school year. NWFS reaches thousands of teenagers every year through this program. Story Promises is an hour long play involving high school students and the pressure of sex. The play includes 8 actors. 5 whom have spent weeks rehearsing the play and 3 who play the roles as extra's in the play. These parts are typically students from the host school that have asked to be part of the production. They learn the entire play in about 45 minutes before performing in front of their school. Characters Brian Brian is the average football jock. He loves football more than anything else in his life. He also has a girlfriend named Katrina. Brian wants to have sex with his girlfriend, but she doesn't want it. Katrina Katrina is Brian's girlfriend. She is shocked about Brian's sudden need for sex. Matt Matt is the typicall high school student. He gets good grades, has a job, and has a girlfriend. Matt is one of the only characters that knows where he stands. Rachel Rachel is Matt's girlfriend. She is also Katrina's best friend. She is very confused about her relationship with Matt. She is unsure if he wants to have sex or not. Stefan Stefan is the yearbook photographer. He is the smartest kid in his class and is best friends with everyone. He is the narrator of the play as well. Mrs. R (Mrs. Reynolds) Mrs. R is the students Health teacher. She is very laid back and very cool with the students. The students feel they can be very open with her. Extra's These are students from the host school. They have a line or two in the play, but their main reason for being in the production is to serve as classmates to the main students. He is best known as an actor in the online video show "Fake". Biography Nathan has been very active in and around Boston with many private events and small acting jobs. Nathan got his start by hosting the dances called "Blame Dances" which where held at Club Quarters and various other locations. Along with become a local personality Nathan has started and been the star of the Youtube favorite "Fake". Nathan has recently produced and hosted a show called "Live" (Full Name: Live at Black Box Studio). This show host local bands and has them play their favorite songs which are recored. On this show he has worked with numerous bands, the best known is TAB the band, who is known for haveing two members be the sons of Aerosmith's guitarist Joe Perry. "Live" has not yet set any release information but is rumored to release in the fall of 2008. Born in Arlington, Texas, Chris Diaz has spent the majority of his life in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex, but is now living in Brooklyn, New York. At an early age he discovered his love for music when introduced to the piano, as well as singing. When he was in middle school, he truly found his passion for singing when he began listening to the R&B harmonies of such popular groups as Boyz II Men, Shai, Silk, Jodeci, and many others. What started off as doo-whopping with friends in between classes developed into a love that he would dream of pursuing on a larger level. This dream would not be fulfilled until the fall of 1997 when he was introduced to Tha Manipulator, one of Dallas best known producers. Upon their meeting, Chris began to work on his first single entitled One For You. The single was featured on the Laced Worldwide compilation and became a popular request on 89.3 KNON. Chris was hooked and wanted to immediately take on a larger project. He was intent on completing a full length album, and the scheduled release was the winter of 2000. The first single released, Shake It Up, was a highly requested song on 89.3, and became a popular cut from the album. The next record released truly launched Chris into new territory. The song was entitled My Special Lady, and it took the Dallas/Ft. Worth airwaves by storm. It was immediately the number one requested song and stayed on top of the KNON countdown for nearly 3 months. The release of the album, Every Story, was highly anticipated as copies were moving so fast, many stores could not keep them in stock. Over 1,000 copies were moved through retail chains in less than 2 months, and Chris even managed to chart on the Soundscan Dallas/Ft. Worth DMA among major label releases, an accomplishment almost unheard of when dealing with local artists. With his unique blend of styles Chris was booking shows all over the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex, performing in front of crowds of up to 10,000 people, and was even able to open for nationally known acts such as DJ Laz, South Park Mexican, and Lil Flip. His latest project, Influenced, is definitely a dream fulfilled. Chris always wanted to work with different styles and genres, so he decided to study music at a local college. Upon completing his Bachelors Degree in music, Chris was able to produce and compose in new styles he was always interested in, but never attempted before. Containing 14 tracks ranging from pop to jazz to hip-hop, Influenced is quite simply all the music that he is influenced by and an expression rooted in several styles of American music. A magnetic lens is a device for the focussing or deflection of charged particles, such as electrons or ions. Charged particles are deflected based upon the strength of the magnetic field, which can be varied by controlling the current flowing through several electromagnets. These typically find diverse applications, from cathode ray tubes to electron microscopy. A magnetic lens typically consists of several electromagnets arranged in a quadrupole (or quadrapole) or hexapole format. This consists of several electromagnetic coils placed at the verticies of a square or hexagon respectively. From this configuration a convex magnetic field can be formed, which has the effect of focussing (or diverging) charged particles. The song is planned to be the second single released from the album. Nearly a month before the album was released, Staind released their first single 'Believe' and 'This Is It' to iTunes to further promote the album. "This Is It" was released as a downloadable track for the video game Rock Band on July 29 for the Xbox 360 and July 31 for Playstation 3.[2] Fans of Staind have noticed that 'This Is It' features more of a metal sound which is almost completely absent from from the rest of the album. This article desribes LFC-LCD, and compares it with ordinary TN-LCD (Twisted Nematic). Ferro Liquid Crystal (FLC) displays is a variant of LCD displays. The main advantage is its extremely low response time. It also needs less energy. This opens up the possibility to make displays with true color pixels, not composed by three subpixels as in ordinary LCD displays. To build up the image is works just like an ordinary TN-LCD. The difference is that the picture is created in three stages: Red, green, and blue. 1. The image is separated into red, green and blue grayscales. 2. The pixels are set to the red grayscale values. Then the red backlight is lit for a short time, and then turned off. 3. The pixels are then set to the green values, and the green backlight is activated for a short time, and then turned off. 4. The pixels are set to the blue values, and the blue backlight is activated. The high update speed (about 100 times faster than TN-LCD:s) make sure that the human eye sees no flicker. The three short bursts of R/G/B colors meld together. Characteristics: - Up to 100 times faster response times compared to ordinary TN-LCD displays. - Every pixel is one pixel ony, not three R/G/B subpixels. - No TFT transistors blocking parts of the visible area. - Advantages: - Less faulty pixels. - Higher resolutions possible. The Alley Arts and Conference Centre, Strabane, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, is a state of the art theatre complex, art gallery and conference centre based in the heart of Strabane, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Built in March 2007, the Alley was officially opened by the Ulster Orchestra and is well known for offering top class entertainment, arts development and conference facilities. David Lega is a former Paralympic Swimmer who beat 14 world records during his career. Lega retired after the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games and started a succesful career as a public speaker and entrepreneur. In 2005, Lega was named an Outstanding Young Person of the World by the JCI. Previous honorees include John F Kennedy, Orson Welles and Elvis Presley. Today, David Lega owns companies within Personal Development, Computer Technology and has his own clothes brand called Lega Wear. He released the book "HANDS FREE - David Lega's Inspiring Journey" in 2008.
